This could be the craziest deal we've seen on the Amazon Echo Dot yet. Amazon has announced a deal that essentially gives you the Echo Dot for $0.99. That's right — less than one dollar.

The deal itself is actually for the Amazon Echo Dot and one month of Music Unlimited, which normally costs $7.99 per month. The total you'll pay at checkout is $8.98, and factoring in the $7.99 cost for one month of Music Unlimited, that means you're essentially getting the Echo Dot for $0.99. In total, you're saving $49, which is the biggest discount we've ever seen on the Echo Dot.

It's important to note that when you buy this deal, the Music Unlimited subscription will be set to auto-renew every month so if you don't want to keep paying $7.99 for it each month, then you'll need to cancel your subscription. To do that, head to the Amazon website, hover your cursor over the Accounts and Lists tab, click Memberships & Subscriptions, then Music Subscriptions, then Cancel Subscription.

Echo Dot, in general, is a super smart speaker. It comes with Amazon's Alexa built right in, meaning that you can use your voice to find out information from the web, control smart home devices, and more. Alexa is only getting smarter too, so you may be able to do more things with the Echo Dot in a year than you can today.
